So the countdown is less than 2 days away until my friends and I start our Beachbody Ultimate Reset challenge. I emphasize the word challenge because it will be a struggle for 21 days but I know we can do it!
This weekend I made a trip to Whole Foods to buy the staples, and I swear I wanted to run over every human being with my grocery cart. Whole Foods I love you but A. You’re too damn expensive, and B. Your aisles are too damn narrow!!! My anxiety was running high in that store. I was swearing under my breath at everyone that got near me and gave them the stink eye. I can not STAND being in a store when it’s crowded. I’m not claustrophobic but I can’t stand people being in my personal space. My heart is racing as I’m typing this just thinking about it.Let’s hope this ultimate reset calms my nerves.
So the grand total at Whole Foods Saturday was $150 and tonight I spent $130 at Sprouts Farmers Market. Maybe they should make healthy foods tax free. We need to get something out of this deal for being healthy! I understand processed food is cheap to make therefore cheap to buy, but I wish it were the other way around.
So after all the shopping, we’ve already transformed our pantries, counter tops, and refrigerators in preparation for the next 3 weeks. Here is what my pantry and counter top currently look like:
Ignore the pineapple – that’s not part of this plan, but I WILL be eating some of it tomorrow. I’m excited to try new vegetables that I’ve been afraid to try. I love the fact that there are no processed foods. I can almost feel the change starting even though we haven’t officially started the challenge. I’ve been eating quite a variety of fruits and vegetables in preparation.
Even though the grocery bills suck, in the end it will be worth it, I just need to keep telling myself that.

I am beyond ready to start this challenge. 24 hours until UR-DAY! Cheers to nutella and icecream tonight.
